As for being Inquisition only, that could just be in Table Top. Both TT and DoW are games set in the 40K universe. DoW isn't a computer game of TT, hence why it can sometimes stray from the TT rules Maybe someone in the Imperium decided that all of these Force Commanders needed these powerful weapons.
What decoration do you want removing from the Daemonhammer? I'll have to check, but is it the parchment strip?
whose clever idea was it to put nine Marines to a squad?
That'd probably be Games Workshop's Ever since 3rd edition you've been able to buy whatever size squad you want. I guess Relic limited it at 9 rather than 10, but that lets you add a special character (FC, Librarian, Chaplain, Apothecary)
EDIT: On a different note, can someone get the decorations off the Daemonhammer? How many Space Marines have Inquisition-only weapons anyway? It'd be better if it were just good ol' Thunder Hammer.
I'll tell you whether he has a powerfist in his data file in a little bit, but based on the list of weapons in the Soulstorm demo data then I'd say he doesn't. They may have shipped the old DC Space Marine data, but they've included Dark Eldar and Sisters of Battle data so I'd have thought the Marines had an update in the demo as well. And they can't just have given it to him in his data file but left the data file for the weapon out or else the game would crash on start up.
