Suggestions for new skins (16 skins to do)

If I don't list them then I don't normally know about them. Croaxleigh has set up a new texture list on the Relic Forums, so the links in that _should_ work. If it doesn't and you can't find any, feel free to request a skin again, but I can't promise when (or if) it'll be done.

hehe i hear yah IBBoard but i think of space marines as the tough guys and the roughnecks as having alot of faith in the emorers protection of the righteous.

well i just finished all the skins for a Hanger-8 golden eagle style texture pack with team colourable eyes and tac symbols, all i need now is a servo. yer i could host it but i wouldn't know how and i would have to ask permission from everyone. soo ill get on that and if you can help me host it or whatever then that should be good. (but need servo skin first, even just a plane skin would help)

You can get the original skins by extracting them from the TextureShare SGA file. My original Modifying Patterns tutorial has details on how to do that.

As for hosting, once you have permission from original authors then Skins@HWT has instructions on the download submission form.

For future reference, though, it's generally best to ask for permission before you work on something. That way your time and effort isn't wasted if people turn around and say no

well it was for personal use anyway so it doesnt really matter

Technically I think it does still matter (legally, at least) it's just that people don't tend to bother as much (especially when it's so much "for personal use" that no-one else knows about it)

i just finshed adding gold skulls and eagles to all the SM buildings, i don't no if any 1 would want them but if you do tell me

I'm sure people will - there's been a reasonable number of downloads on the Camo Buildings skin for the Guard.

As long as you've got permission from the authors or any work you may have re-used and credited them in the readme, just Zip them up and email them to me (my email address is the same as the site name - Skins@HWT.co.uk - but written in full) and I'll get them up as soon as I can.

Okay, it's now been added. Also, I quickly corrected Hangar-8's name in the readme. Don't want some impostor stealing his credit by using the name "Hanger-8"
