Chapter Change - My Space Marines

after not painting (or doing anything even remotely GW related) I feel the urge to paint some bits of plastic yet again. However, looking at my current space marine chapter, Swords of Sanguinious, I've decided I don't really like the paint scheme and all that White is a hassle to paint.

Instead I'm changing to the Codex Dark Angels, with a few changes; possibly silver edges to shoulder pads and burgandy robes instead of the usual cream/white

I notice you're doing it as I leave home though You'll just have to see if you can find anyone at Sheffield - they've got a couple of GW stores and I'm sure I saw a club in that Uni promotional video.

Nice paint job

I converted my Dark Angels...To Iron Warriors, They succumbed to the might of Chaos ...Was originally going to paint them as Fallen Angels but there something about Iron Warriors...Perhaps it's the fact that my Brother collects Imp. Fists..hehe!:D

Im startin on the assault squad now, they should look a bit better cos they didnt already have half a dozen layers of paint on already

You need to get those batteries charged on the other camera - get some better quality pics.

Think we've had one or two - not sure if any of them are direct from Kerrang though, it might just be coincidental registrations. Check the members list and order it by reg date. One of the referals was actually straight from the UserCP/Messages file of a vB forum or whatever they use.

So, did you actually do the Dark Angels from scratch, with no old models, or did you just cover up the old ones with different colours?

I'm a very slow painter, I only got one tac squad and a few characters painted in my old colour scheme, half painted the assault squad that's in the other thread. I think this tac squad were the one's I had painted up, the paint wasn't that thick so I just sprayed black undercoat over the top of the old paint scheme and started again without losing too much of the detail.

I've only got these guys and the assault squad repainted, I focused on my orc and goblin army again but I've done hardly any of it since I've gone to uni

I am going to repaint my ultamarins army into a chapter af my own creation.
it was inspiered by the chapter that was poasted as an article that i cant find again, The Furries or somthing, if any1 knows where to find that article plz tell.

Can't think of any chapter along the line of "The Furries". Any ideas what the colour scheme or background was?

Simguinus may be more of a Warhammer guy, I'm not sure, but he might have an idea when he reads it

they had qite a developed background, hey, read it quite a long time ago, could of been on another site.
Couler scheems... red i think, what i liked most was the woman leader, a nice chang from the normal striotype.

Can't have been official then, as 40K fluff says only male physiology is compatible with the Space Marine geneseed and enhancements. I have seen one or two female chapters, but I can't think of one it might be.
