Sapphire Krakens

The sapphire krakens are a space marine chapter i made
The main color is hawk turquoise and the secondary color is regal blue
some people are making fun of the name, is there a better name i can use

Given some of the other weird and wonderful names that people come up with then it isn't that bad, although it might also be suitable for Chaos, Dark Eldar and Dark Elves. At the end of the day then it is your army and your choice of name, so it is up to you what you call them.

Looking to Wikipedia for inspiration, the only alternatives I can think of are Teal (which is as bad as sapphire for not being overly tough) or Viridian. Sapphire is a bluer colour than Hawk Turquoise, but Azure would be another similar shade of blue.

If it is the Kraken part that people don't like, then Leviathan would seem like the best synonym/related word.

Try the Wikipedia 'Shades of Blue' list, or the 'Shades of Cyan' (which are possibly a bit closer to Hawk Turquoise). There are a few possibilities, but which one works depends more on what your colour scheme looks like overall.

That looks like a good colour scheme - the two shades of blue go well with the gold trim, and the white helmets stand out quite well. I guess it also gives you a use for one of those less common paint colours as well

Sorry, I've given about as many ideas as I can come up with that are similar based on other names for colours or creatures. There are probably hundreds of names that would be okay with the colour scheme, but it is all about what you want from your chapter name.
