It's a while since I posted my Getting Back to Painting post, and my schedule slipped a bit. Rather than painting on Saturday mornings I'd gone back to programming (or at least being on the computer) all day.
A couple of weekends ago (before the visitors descended) I spent about three hours in a morning painting up an Ork Nob. I'm not sure I've done as much to his flesh as I'd like (I didn't want him too light, but he might have ended up without enough of a highlight) but here's a quick look at the model (clockwise from the top left: undercoat, flesh basecoat, completed clothing with undercoated armour, final figure).
Hopefully, having been prompted by some of the "Year in Industry" lads (University students) that I work with, I'll eventually get round to writing a "How to paint an Ork Nob in three hours" article.
