No more losing keys!

A BBC news report mentions one of Time's top inventions of the year - something called the Loc8tor. It's a digital device that detects postage-sized tags that you attach to things you lose often. You then use the device a little like sonar crossed with a metal detector and it bleeps louder the closer you get to what you're looking for.

The one problem I saw is the one they mention at the end:

But the main problem with the Loc8tor is that it is likely to fall victim to exactly the problem that it aims to solve.

They should making it the size of a widescreen TV, i don't think i've ever lost my TV before. :wink:

It'd be a little difficult to move it around to triangulate the position then, though :D
