At the end of today's Monza (Italian) Grand Prix Michael Schumacher has announced that he's going to retire.
After the season ends he'll not be racing for Ferrari again, although there were hints from the commentators that he might still be with the team in some other role. They were also hinting that Raikkonen would probably be his replacement.
I can't say I'm particularly sad to see him go, and it'll hopefully leave some credit for the younger drivers (especially after Martin Brundle said Schumacher was his driver of the day despite the fact that Kubica, who was only a test driver until recently, got his BMW into 3rd and a podium!) but it'll be a little strange not to have someone like him at Ferrari.
