The following is the current HWT registration agreement. Any updates will be followed by an announcement by email that changes have been made. It is the responsibility of each user to ensure that they know about the details of the latest updates.

While the administrators and moderators of this forum will attempt to remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly as possible, it is impossible to review every message. Therefore you acknowledge that all posts made to these forums express the views and opinions of the author and not the administrators, moderators or webmaster (except for posts by these people) and hence these individuals will not be held liable.

You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may violate any applicable laws. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned (and your service provider being informed). The same agreement and restrictions apply to any personal messages sent to other users. The IP address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that the webmaster, administrator and moderators of this forum have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should they see fit. You also agree to post only in English unless a full translation is provided in the same post, and not to use more than a bare minimum of Internet speak or slang. This is not only a courtesy to English speakers who do not know the slang, but also to non-native English speakers who also use the forums.

As a user you agree to any information you have entered above being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent the webmaster, administrator and moderators cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.

You agree not to post meaningless threads for the sake of increasing your post count or flood an area with a message. Any posts that are deemed to be spam in this way will be removed and appropriate action will be taken by the moderators and administrators.

This forum system uses cookies to store information on your local computer. These cookies do not contain any of the information you have entered above; they serve only to improve your viewing pleasure.

Your e-mail address is used for confirming your registration details and password (and for sending new passwords should you forget your current one) and for occasional administrative emails informing users of important changes. If you enable the options, your email address may also be used to notify you of new replies to topics or new personal messages. You may also receive emails from other registered members, although your email address will never be displayed unless you explicitly post it. Your registered email address must be kept up to date and valid, or else your account may be at risk of deletion.

You agree not to post any links or messages promoting your own products or websites purely for the purposes of advertising. Some advertisements may be allowed in the releavant forums, but these must be approved by an administrator before they are posted. Failure to receive approval will result in the topic being deleted without warning and may result in additional action.

Due to American COPPA legislation, you guarantee that you are at least 13 (thirteen) years of age and that all personal details, including email address, are your own and not those of someone else or someone under the age of thirteen.

This agreement may be updated as necessary, at which time a notification will be sent to all users notifying them of the update. It is then up to the user to check the registration agreement. If you do not wish to be bound by an updated registration agreement then please contact an administrator to have your account deleted. A lack of knowledge of an update to the registration agreement will not be accepted as an excuse for breaking the terms of the agreement.
