I don't really like being a First Year Cadet.How do I advance?

Yup, its normal ranking structure. We did have a list of ranks somewhere, I thought, but maybe not. You can choose a different scheme as well if you want.

Be ware though, everything might change a little in the next few weeks when I eventually finish with the new phpBB and get it skinned and MODed to my liking

the forums and the site, plus skins@hwt will all be moving over to the new host eventually.

Alright...how does this affects me and what am I supposed to do when this remodeling occurs?And what do you mean about new host?Does that mean that I'll have to re-sign-in? :blink:

All members and posts will still be available, we'll just be at a new URL and with a new look and new forum software (plus a few bugs, like not all signatures showing correctly for a while until I fix them all)

As for the other schemes, it just gives you an alternate image (e.g. Skaven, Orks, Dragon Rider of Pern, etc). None of them will work straight away at the new site, and I might drop some of them in the end, but it is just a different rank image under your name and a different title.

Guard names are still here, images will be added later, then the MOD that allows multiple 'rank schemes' along with the other schemes and images.

OK, for now, and because people might want to have simple rank images when I get the MOD installed, I've added some green bars from phpBB's collection. Don't worry though, all of the old ranks are still stored on my machine, they just aren't on the forum at the moment because they can't be used.

Yeah, the Cadets are really lowly post counts that you fly through quite quickly

How many posts to get out of cadet?

P.s. Is there a rank that you can't go past, a final rank, so to speak?

Cadet is up to 50 posts. The highest rank is 5000 posts. Considering how I'm only about half way there, I don't think you're looking at getting anywhere near it any time soon
