I'm at Abi's parents house this weekend, and they live in a village so all they have is dial up. Posting on the forums is kinda slow, but the site itself actually looks quite good. The main content appears first, then the left content, then the images load because they're backgrounds. Still a little bit of a wait on 56K, but content first is good :)

Now I just can't wait for ADSL/Cable again :D

Not now - I'm back home again! :P

But I hate to think how long that would take on a 46.6K connection :blink:

The forums were slow enough as it was - slightly badly HTML for a slow connection.

I've got a 56k.It's not that bad since there aren't many images posted.Actually there's no problem at all except perhaps waiting some seconds when visiting the skinning and artwork forums.

Yeah, maybe skinning chat should have a warning on it :D
But the speed increase was when I removed all of the tables from the main HWT website (nice clean standards compliant code :) which I'm slowly doing here as well - why they need so many layers of nexted table just to center align something is beyond me!
