I'm doing Industrial Experience at Fujitsu Siemens and we have an Intranet website. The current headlin is "Boosting our brand the world cup way".

and in the body it has:

... touchline billboards at more than 150 qualifiers and 20 friendlies; ...

Ooooooooooooooooooo, going big then - qualifiers and friendlies
*shakes head* the things that marketting come up with to promote the brand.
And the things that HR do to make us feel "part of the company" <_<

Fujitsu or Siemens might have sponsored someone (non-national), but FSC is just really starting with the branding. We have awful new screensavers at work - it'll show a picture of some Dolphins and go "Dynamic by nature, responsible by choice" and then have a little description of how the company thinks they are all great and like dolphins. Also featured are owls, ants and geese, although I can't remember for what. I think the ant is powerful.

And worst of all is that HR seem to think that we should be all enthusiastic and enjoy the company indoctrination...sorry, induction days
