Red Dwarf Returns!!!

Red Dwarf has now returned to terrestrial TV They are re-running it from the start on BBC2 at about 11:20pm on Thursdays, and they are about 3 or 4 episodes in so far.
Its great to see the early ones again - so cheaply done with only 4 cast members (Lister, Cat, Holly and Rimmer)

Also, is it just me or did they pick a hell of a lot nicer person to play the later Kochanski (sp?) than they did in the early ones? They don't show her much (the first episode when everyone is alive and about the third episode where Rimmer tries to put Lister off when he's doing his Cooks Exam) but the later actress is a definate improvement

indeed she does seem to improve alot in later series hehehe, it's great, they played Queeg the other night, that episode is fantastic! Roll on series 5+6, can't wait for them to make it back on tv or to dvd whichever is first!

Oh yeah, they are still showing them late at night aren't they - noticed one the other day. But they're on late at night again :\
They should show more of them earlier in the night

there was talk of a movie some time ago but it seems to have faded, havent heard anything in a while

pah talk of film has been going on for years.. but they actually seem to be allmost getting somewhere these days... just think they may have left it a little too late.. anyways for those fans who know nothing of the movie... here's a link -

They have a movie section in the drop down menu at the top, and they have a "latest news" article from April 03. From what it says on there, the movie doesn't sound that great, the plot just sounds completely different and totally pandering to the flim companies.
But it does say that Doug Naylor was in Australia looking at studios, so it may still happen yet
