I know fanatic took over BFG and the like but I have a memory of Necromunda released under a different name, can someone check if it was in the 30th Ani White Dwarf?

Necromunda has the sub-title "Underhive" now, but as far as I know it is still available as a 'Living Rulebook' from the Fanatic website.
Out now: Dawn of War Texture/Skin Downloads
At v0.1: WarFoundry (open source, cross-platform, multi-system army creation application)

Necromunda

It was originally referred to as Necromunda: Redux. Now it is simply Necromunda: Underhive. The rulebook is available to download and has more typos fixed than the actual printed rulebook they released recently.

They are also posting all new official rules from Fanatic on their website as well, such as the new Enforcers, Ratskin Renegades, new Spryers rules, etc.

There we go, and answer from someone who seems to be very much up-to-date on Necromunda :D

I've always have liked to play more of Necromunda, Blood Bowl, Gorkamorka and some of the other small games, but I never had the time. Then especially with games like Necromunda and Gorkamorka you end up having to spend too much to update your models with their new equipment :\

If..

Well, that is if you go by the rule of what you see is what you get. I usually don't to be frank and I never expect others to do so as well. If it becomes a big problem, you can always write on small slits of paper "Shotgun, Frag" or similar thing and tape it to the model's side. It saves a hell lot of time. :-)

LOL never thought of doing it that way :D

"My Goliath heavy is now shooting with his Heavy Bolter.....yes, I know it's a shotgun, but look, there is a bit of paper under the side of his base and it says......yes, I know my hand writing is bad, that's why I was about to tell you what it says, it says 'Heavy Bolter'"

:D :D :D

No, no, no...

The paper wouldn't be under the model, but like so, = is the paper, X is the model. =X - it'd be like having a sale tag on the model so to speak. And while I am more loose on WYSIWYG, a model armed only with pistols can only have it represent pistol weapons, etc, a model with a huge weapon may only consider it to be armed with special or heavy weapons. I am loose, but not THAT loose. ;-)

Downloading Necromunda

Postby Ramognino at 01 Jul 2005, 15:15

It is available to download at Specialist Games' Necromunda site

[Edit by IBBoard] Sorry, removing the direct link - GW tend to be a little picky about things like that and mirroring resources. Links to their pages are fine, though :)

The Necromunda Enforcers are fun to use but I prefer the Eschers over all the gangs

Enforcers

The Enforcers are better used by an the Arbitrator in a Campaign, IMHO.

I prefer Escher as well, but am giving Cawdor a shot for the sake that I have always avoided using them before. :-)
