1) We've got a skinning forum with a requests thread in it ;)

2) SPIs?

3) We may need a bit more information. Do you mean the skulls in the middle of eagles, etc?

Must not have read that thread, since I've never seen SPI. I just call it "shoulder pad inner" or "shoulder pad" with the trim being called "shoulder pad trim".

As for skulls, you could mean the ones on the backpacks and weapons as well, or you could even mean the ugly Halloween skulls that you get when you get bionic upgrades (unless you have Hangar-8's removal patch added).

Your new request is fairly simple - just a cut and paste between two layers. Why don't you try it yourself? :)

Compared to some areas of weapon, knee pads should be comparatively obvious :)

Wow, I check these forums too often on my days off!

How did it get messed up? What program did you use to edit the files? What format did you save them as? What options did you have set/unset when saving?

The more info you give, the more people can help. "It broke" tells people nothing about where to start helping ;)

That tells me very basically what you did and what programs you could have used, but it doesn't give details, error messages or how it was "messed up". The more detail the more likely it is people can help.

Getting better, but still not enough info. I'm guessing you actually got it compiled and in-game if it was a "black weird thing".

What happened when you changed your colour scheme? Did you cut and paste or copy and paste? Which images did you cut from and paste to? Did you save both the image you took the knee pad from and the one you put it on? Did you make sure it was perfectly aligned in the same place as it was before? Do you have any screenshots of what happened (e.g. from the Army Painter)?

Of course, any other information beyond those questions would also help.

Edit button ;)

Also, for the future reference of others, how did you fix it? I'm still not entirely sure what the whole problem was!
