don't you mean ranked wargear textures? because normal unit textures can be retextured and used directly (wargear too just not showing, unless you have that much TS.... sigh i hate ranked games, always make people who have lower rank be "worse" even if they just started playing the same day...)

Yeah it just shows the wargear with higher ranking. And you can still rank up via losing, so it all works out for me.

Really? That's a shame, because I'd never play online so I'd never get to unlock the extra bits. That seems like a rather stupid way of doing it IMO. Yes, online play is one aspect of it, but some people would rather avoid it and for those people they shouldn't be forced to play part of the game to get content.

Oh well, such is the way of the world when "achievements" and "medals" and "progress points" are what is considered important.

actually ranked "wargear" are actually only visual changes, and doesn't really have any inpact on the rest of the game, well except for maybe skirmish <.< and i don't play online either.
