German Staff Warboss Painting

Man, anyone seen the German Staff Warboss Painting article on the UK GW site? Take a look, some of those models (well, all of those models) are pretty incredible. I printed off a couple of pictures to use for my next conversion...I was inspired.

I think of all the warbosses on foot, Simon Schnitzler's looks the best. It's just something unique that stands out, while the rest just seem overly armoured or ridiculously equipped.

The colour scheme on Jochen Kläss's mounted warboss is interesting (if not quite to my tastes with the turquoise), but my favourite is probably Matthias Winter's with the dangling snotling Heiko Mäss does have an interesting idea, though, with the shield 'skin' being painted green as if it's actual Ork skin!

Speaking of Warboss conversions, my Warboss was due to arrive on Saturday, but it didn't, and there's no post on a sunday, and guess what? Easter Monday, no post either! (Bluh. )
