Possibly, but as brutal close combat killers go, they look quite fitting

Okay, I have something we could argue about:

Let's say that these Kroot attack a weakly defended outpost of Space Marines. Now, given their interesting ability to alter their own DNA based on those they consume, if they could mimic the DNA of not only the Space Marines enhanced organ, but also perhaps their Gene-seed itself, would the Imperium be as screwed as Ron Jeremy at his retirement party?

Not a clue who Ron Jeremy is.

As for the Kroot attacking and killing Marines, if they did then there may be some changes (like extra organs) but they wouldn't gain all of the advantages. Plus, although I don't know much about the Kroot, I don't think they can do a perfect clone to get everything identical in their DNA. If they could rip all of the DNA they wanted perfectly every time then they wouldn't be the cheap foot-slogging combat troops of the Tau!
