wood elfs

hello
I'm a beginning player from belgium and want to play witch wood elfs.
I have been challenged by men of chaos. for a battle of 2000p.
Could somebody give me advice and tell me wath to put in my army? :wninja:

It depends what you've got access to :)

The last time I played against Wood Elves then War Dancers caused me lots of problems. I'm not sure whether they're more balanced now, but they seemed to have a dance to combat most things you could throw at them.

A treeman will pose a potentially frightening prospect for some armies, but wizards and dwarfs can make short work of them with fire. Similarly with Eagles/Warhawks, they can be used by cavalry but with an extra edge and so people don't necessarily know how best to cope with them.

Other than that I'd mainly focus on shooting. Wood Elves will beat just about anyone else at shooting, so as long as you can whittle down numbers and have some Eternal Guard or Treekin as solid units to beat back anything that does get too close (there used to be smaller Dryads as well) then you've got the main focus of a Wood Elf army.
