Most people do that, but the moment I decided to start building my own army (getting tired of borrowing other peoples stuff :)) I knew there was a new book coming, so Id ecided tow ait for it, which seems a foolish decision now, because it takes forever... :(

they never change very much from the Ravening Hordes book, why not start building an army based on that?  Any tweeks that you would have to make would be minor.  I think most of the troop types are in there anyway

Which rules are you using for the pirates? or is it just a piratical Empire force with normal Empire rules?
