Forum version updates

phpBB released an upgrade with a few minor bug and security fixes. Since they are an open source project and offer patch files that show just the changes, I've now patched the forums to the latest version. I will post here each time the version is updated in case anyone hits any problems.

I really should keep more of an eye on phpBB's development - a week after the first post, they'd brought out another version! A little faster than normal schedule, but then I'd missed updating the previous version for a while.

The site is now fully patched up to date to phpBB v2.0.17 :)

I downloaded 2.0.18 before I went on holiday, but by the New Year they've released 2.0.19!

We're now fully patched and up to date - or at least we should be! Sorry to anyone who tried to visit overnight. I didn't realise it had the 'remove the install directory' security feature, and I started it and left it.

If you find any bugs or errors, please tell me.

We're now patched up to 2.0.20. I've modded the board quite heavily since last time, so hopefully the update didn't break anything. If it did, just yell.

Another update has been made. Now we're on phpBB v2.0.21. If anyone finds anything broken, please post it or PM me :)

It appears I broke the anti-spam bot registration image (the graphical code you have to read in and type) on the last update. Thanks to our soon-to-be member for pointing that out - it's now fixed :)

There've been the odd niggling issues with the v2.0.22 update caused by the fact that our user control panel is quite heavily modded. As it's Christmas I can't get much of a chance to fix it now, but hopefully the last minor issues will be resolved in the next few days (the first ones found were resolved yesterday, following Briarus and MMM pointing them out :) )

Okay, I think all of the little problems should be solved now. If anyone else has anything they've found that's gone wrong since the upgrade to 2.0.22 then please PM me.
