joblacki has been deleted for signing up and posting spam and jane4life has been deleted for showing up as a spammer on a variety of unrelated forums with emails differing only by the number in it.

JassN00ra has been deleted for having an email address from a domain related to drugs spam. I've also got my eye on another recent registrant who I'll be examining this weekend.

boolkfe has been deleted for having a failed email address, and HammerMark has been deleted because his email address is about to fail (72 hours without success), the name shows up as a spammer on other forums registering on the same day, and the IP address appears to be one for a set of dedicated servers, not an ISPs IP address.

"New Name" has been deleted for:

• having a lame attempt at a name
• having an email address that bounced
• posting one of the worst attempts at "it's not really spam" spam messages I've seen (which various spam filtering caught)

Four members (Kylian, Mr. Falcon, Thousand Sons Sergeant and Gorok Gorz) have now been deleted following the sending of the New Year cleanup message, as their email address failed.

Kamarath has now been deleted after I remembered his email address had failed (his domain is no longer registered)

Following the newsletter/update I just sent out about the forums being six years old(!) I've now deleted FredehVefr for having a failed email address. It also turns out that he was a silent spammer who never actually spammed, but who managed to register from a web hosting server.

"Your a nerd" [sic] has been deleted for having an invalid email address and not even reading the PM I sent him a month ago asking him to update it.

Frond, Hitman, Corsix and Starship Trooper have been deleted for having dead email addresses.

Emails are being sent out to members who haven't visited the forums in 2007 or who have no posts after three months of signing up. Expect more deletion after the end of the month.

I've just sent out a final "last chance" notification to the 41 people currently on the list. If they don't respond or post in the forums before Monday then their accounts will be deleted as inactive.

A couple of people have returned after the first round of emails, but if no-one else returns then we'll be down to less than 70 members.
