GW 'acquire' Chaos League

Since it's still Chaos League news, I'll keep this in General :)

According to the Chaos League Players site (an unofficial fansite) at the end of June Games Workshop signed a contract with Cyanide (along with accepting a payment) that meant GW now own Chaos League and that Cyanide will be developing some official Bloodbowl games :)

I've not played much Chaos League, but so far it's been great. Yes it's Bloodbowl-esque, but it's also fairly generically "American Football in a Fantasy world". Half of the models don't look the same, they haven't used any names or direct references I've noticed, but obviously GW had something somewhere to get the settlement.

Now to play Chaos League and then wait and see how an official Bloodbowl game improves on it :)
